Martin Clunes has returned to Cornwall
to play the nation’s favourite grumpy medic in a brand new

Clunes starring as Dr. Martin Ellingham, the GP with a brusque

Caroline Catz plays Doc Martin’s wife,
Louisa Ellingham, who has resigned from her job as headmistress
at the local school to pursue a new career in child counselling.

McNeice is back to play Bert Large, with Joe Absolom as his son
Al. John Marquez is PC Joe Penhale, Jessica Ransom is the

pharmacist Mrs Tishell.
Jason Donovan’s Daughter
Jason Donovan’s daughter is heading
for her father’s old town of Erinsborough.
18-year-old Jemma Donovan has landed
herself a role in Neighbours, the veteran Australian soap in
which her father made his name.
She will play the role of Harlow
Robinson, described as a ‘quick-witted and complicated
character’ by series bosses.
Donovan famously played Scott
Robinson, who married Kylie Minogue’s Charlene Mitchell in the
show, from 1986 to 1989, in over 500 episodes.
“Neighbours is an incredible learning
curve for any young actor. It’s become an institution and I’m so
grateful for my time on Ramsay Street,” Donovan said.
“There are so many great memories for

Jemma added: “I was so happy and very

“The timing was also perfect because
since my previous role on Spotless in 2015, I stopped going to
auditions and acting because I wanted to finish my schooling,
get my A levels and see what I wanted to do after that so it’s
great how everything has fallen into place.”
Jemma will be the third generation of
the Donovan family to appear in the soap.
As well as her dad, her grandfather
Terence Donovan played Doug Willis in the show from 1990 to his
last episode in 2016.
