Clive Myrie is back in a new travelogue which will see him travel Africa. The 10x30 series will see Clive travel to Morocco, South Africa, Nigeria and Ghana to experience the array of African culture across the continent, from food, fashion, football, art and everything in between.

In Morocco Clive will be riding with the Arab world's first all-female motorcycle group, playing with the kids of Juventus football academy, and will stay with a British writer who traded UK city life to move to Casablanca with his family to renovate a Moroccan mansion. He will also travel the Atlas Mountains staying in an eco-lodge and learning how Argan Oil is harvested. He has a go at creating some of Morocco's famous tile art for himself and visiting beautiful riads that are covered with it. As always Clive will taste the local cuisine, and try his hand at cooking with the chef of one of Morocco's first fine dining restaurants, cooking lamb in the ancient medina.

In Tangier Clive will be getting out his blowtorch in the souk to create his own version of Morocco's famous lanterns and meeting the Moroccan designer who is reviving the art of the Kaftan. Outside the city he'll be heading to a mountain village to play with the country's most famous Sufi musician and his band and will be visiting a cheese farm.

Clive’s South Africa plans include helping to create some of Soweto’s famous murals and experiencing the rhythms of Amapiano as he travels through Johannesburg, Durban, Capetown and the spectacular countryside and coast that surround them. He’ll be put to work in vineyards, conservation centres and fruit farms, discover the secrets of South African Wine and challenge himself on the rugby pitch and in surf school. Clive will try to squeeze in time to meet old colleagues from his time working in South Africa, to get an inside view on how the country’s changed. He’ll also delve into the tastes of this vibrant nation - from rolling up his sleeves and cooking Cape Malay style, to mastering the art of the braai BBQ.

Clive said: “I was based in Johannesburg working for the BBC more than 20 years ago. It's such an exciting, culturally rich and diverse Continent and I've always wanted to come back to explore it more deeply. So in this series I'm travelling from the tip to the toe of this amazing part of the world.”

Muslim Alim, Commissioning Editor for BBC Daytime said: “Clive’s previous adventures have been a huge hit with viewers, so we can’t wait to share his latest travels, as he journeys from the tip to toe of Africa. And as he uncovers the continent’s extraordinary history, culture and cuisine, he’ll also explore his own personal connections to Ghana and Nigeria.”
